YES! JUST LOOK AT THIS THING! Alright so, this thing is incredible. STAB Tough Claws Crunch and Fire Fang / Flare Blitz is going to hurt, and assuming it has around 100 attack, it will definitely be a force to be reckoned with. Of course it gets Blaze, but for the image in my head I'd personally like to see the final evolution get Tough Claws. As far as the final evolution goes, I see a semi-fast strong attacker.
Those spikes or whatever on the back look sick, and on some huge saber tiger thing they could be spiked out with flames on the tips. Just imagine, a tiger with those whiskers and some big fangs, and huge claws. Now after coming up with a couple images in my head about final evolution, my favorite was a tiger. That is a good competitive typing, pluss you can have nostalgia wars between the Fire / Dark type Cat and the Fire / Dark type dog (Houndoom). So I think the obvious go-to typing is Fire / Dark, which I totally understand and I kind of hope happens. It has grown on me a little after thinking about the potential evolutions it could get, and I'll dive right in. Just some ideas.Įhh, when I first saw this thing, I hated it. A fast bulky support, which doesn't happen often, getting a good amount of health back from Sitrus+Harvest. I don't think it will be the best Pokemon in existence, but imagine the potential. We all know it will get the Overgrow ability, but I think it will obtain a little unique ability in Harvest for its HA. I see it being pretty fast, low offenses, and great defenses. I'm going to theorymon a bit, so here we go! Just look at the shape of this thing, I believe the final evolution will be a smart, bulkier owl. Interesting Pokemon, and I am glad to see a new Grass / Flying type.

With a fresh generation being released on the 20th anniversary, I have a high anticipation that Pokemon Sun & Moon will deliver.Īlright, lemme go full in depth with this post real quick.Īlright so Rowlet. That's all of the thoughts I have about it right now. The Sun Pokemon has a good design as well, but I was not blown away by it like I was by the Moon Pokemon because of earlier speculation about Pokemon Sun having a lion legendary as the mascot. Who'd expect a dream catcher to look so majestic? Most of the time I will usually pick a legendary that looks cooler, stronger, and/or tougher than its counter-part (such as Groudon, Zekrom, and Yveltal), but this time I am making an exception. On the other hand, Rowlet seems to be the majority favorite (Twitter, polls on PS!, etc.), and I think so because it's an Owl Pokemon, not to mention the outburst of Rowlet memes.Īs for the legendaries, I really love the Moon Pokemon's design because it's very creative and unique. I am expecting Popplio to have the coolest design for its final stage (akin to Froakie), so I can't wait until we get further information. Litten is probably my favorite starter Pokemon as of now, because of the seemingly chill and cool-headed attitude about it (kind of like my cat) but this is most likely to change because, for me, the final evolution stages of starter Pokemon are the driving factor in selecting a favorite.
